Humility
is the point of equilibrium. The true way to be humble is not to stoop until you are smaller than yourself; this would be to diminish yourself. But, to stand at your real height in relation to some higher nature (God/Source) that shows you what the real smallness of your greatness is. ref. Phillips Brooks
In going out into nature, you can sense the greatness, harmony, meaning, and purpose every manifestation in the Universe and beyond by being still and focusing on your heart center, breathing in the magnificence. This is the Unity of all things. Just be-ing part of the bigger picture humbles one to know/sense he/she is vital to the whole and what ever you do you effect the whole and you do to yourself.
We are all vibrating our essence of be-ing, what we hold in our energy fields; our thoughts, beliefs, and feelings, and attracting to us the equal energy vibration of our thoughts, beliefs and feelings. You cannot recognize anything in another if you don't have it within you. So in the greatness of this Universe, sense the greatness in yourself at the same time, sensing the small but vital part that you contribute to the greater good of all. Ask yourself, what is the truth of my greatness? At the same time if you "sense" a person lacking in some way, you must look inward and sense the truth of this as "where do I hold this in me, what is there to understand regarding this "lack" and how may I heal this?" As you heal yourself, you help heal the Universe.
Quotes on Humility:
Humility...is the displacement of self with the enthronement of God. When God is in all, self is nothing...Humility is the blossom of which death to self is the perfect fruit. Andrew Murray.
Sweep out the chamber of your heart. Make it ready to be the dwelling place of the beloved. When you depart out, He will enter it. In you, void of yourself, will He display His beauties.- Mahmud Shabistari
There is no limit to what can be done if it doesn't matter who gets the credit.- Author Unknown.
***Self-conceit shows a lack of sensibility and maturity. Those who are more reflective and spiritually mature have the sense to attribute whatever gifts they may have to the Creator, the Most High, and devote themselves to him with humble gratitude. -M.Fethulla Gulen
